Internship Node.js Frontend Developer (m/f/d)

Within the framework of a project, a data protection-compliant person recognition for the implementation of a collision prevention system for industrial applications is being researched. The project partner Art21 from Lithuania is looking for an intern in the field of frontend development using Node.js, who should preferably be integrated into the development project on a mobile basis.

Klaus Dröder focuses on technological and automation issues along current and future manufacturing process chains. Within the framework of a project, a data protection-compliant person recognition system is being investigated for the implementation of a collision prevention system.

In the manufacturing industry as well as in logistics, the use of supportive machines frequently leads to dangerous situations in which, in addition to material damage, the health of the employees is at risk. Currently, there are only a few advanced products and solutions on the market that comprehensively address this problem. With the Probility system, we offer companies in the food, packaging and consumer goods industries a solution approach for the prevention of occupational accidents based on digital image processing and artificial intelligence.

 

Your contribution

The aim of the internship is to develop a frontend using Node.js. In the frontend, real-time data about the position of people and vehicles should be clearly displayed. In addition, the user technology should be able to be set and checked. Your contribution of additional functions is welcome, but not necessary.

Requirement
  • Studies in the information technology sector

  • Very good knowledge of Node.js / Express.js / JavaScript

  • Profound knowledge of SQL / databases (migrations, persistence, backups)

  • Experience in building REST interfaces

  • Preferably also with frontend experience or a desire for AngularJS
